My goal is to always conduct research that will help practitioners develop more sound crisis communication and reputation management strategy and more effective measures to inform and evaluate that strategy. My research examines the ways that organizations have handled previous crises and how that impacts publics’ perceptions and emotions during current crises. I am also interested in health and risk communication research that can help communicators create effective strategies to relay pertinent information to publics.
